問題が終わるたびに、順位の変動が激しいので、非常に熾烈な戦いとなり、大盛り上がりでした！
The rankings changed dramatically after each question, making the competition fierce and very exciting!

持ち時間は１０秒ですが、早く答えたグループに多くの得点が入るため、いかに早く正確に答えるかが勝利の分かれ目になりましたね。見事20問の問題を通して優勝した、We're Poohチームの紹介です！うれしそうな笑顔ですね!楽しんでくれて何よりです！

Each group had 10 seconds to answer, and the faster they answered, the more points they earned. The key to victory was answering both quickly and accurately. Here’s an introduction to the winning team of the 20-question competition, "We're Pooh." Look at those happy smiles! I'm glad you all enjoyed it!

続いては、Rick先生によるCommunication Activityの時間です。

Next, we had a communication activity with Mr. Rick.

お題は、Do you want to go to Mars?でした。グループになり話し合い、その後、全体にシェアをしました！どの理由も個性的で、火星にいったパイオニアになりたい（or ヒーローになりたい）、まだまだやりたいことがあるので行きたくない（パートナーや家族との時間）など、どの理由も大変興味深かったです＾＾
The topic was "Do you want to go to Mars?" Students discussed this in groups and then shared their opinions with everyone. The reasons were very unique and interesting, ranging from wanting to become pioneers or heroes by going to Mars to not wanting to go because they had things they still wanted to do on Earth, like spending time with partners or family.

どのグループも英語で積極的に話す雰囲気と空間を自分たちで作り上げていることろが、雰囲気の良さを感じます。恥ずかしがらずに英語を話すだけでも大きなアドバンテージです。今後も、蕨高生活を通して、その英語の実力もつけていってほしいですね！

Each group created a great atmosphere by actively speaking in English. Just speaking English without being shy is a huge advantage. I hope you continue to develop your skills through your time at Warabi High School!

この2週間で、たくさんの国について調べ、深掘りをし、さらに英語でプレゼンをする経験を積み、日々成長をしているのを感じます！なにより、生徒たちが自発的に且つ、楽しみながら授業を受けていることがとても印象深いです！
Over these two weeks, we have researched many countries, delved deeper, and gained experience presenting in English. I can feel the daily growth! Most impressively, the students are participating actively and enjoying the lessons!

外国語科クラスとして、言語能力だけでなく、人としてもさらなる成長を期待しています！皆さん本当にお疲れ様でした＾＾
As a foreign language class, I hope to see not only improvements in language abilities but also personal growth. Everyone, great job!

さっ、続いてはお待ちかねの、アクティビティの時間ですね！
Now, it’s time for the much-anticipated activity session!

本番が始まると、皆真剣に、かつ、楽しみながらプレゼンを聞き、とても明るいムードでの本番となりました！
Once the presentation began, everyone listened seriously and enjoyed it, creating a very bright atmosphere

タイトルの"World Travel"にふさわしく、コンゴ、モロッコ、フィンランド、ペルー、タンザニアなど今回発表できた生徒のほとんどが違う国をプレゼンし、私たち教員も大変勉強になる発表ばかりでした。さらにスライドのクオリティも高く、見やすいだけでなく、まとまった発表でした！

True to the title "World Travel," most of the students who presented today showcased different countries such as Congo, Morocco, Finland, Peru, and Tanzania, and all of the presentations were very educational for us. Furthermore, the quality of the slides was high, making them not only easy to see but also well-organized!

次回木曜日にも発表の続きがあるので、どんな国が紹介されるのか、みんなで楽しみにしています！

是非皆さんにも共有したいような、雰囲気の良い６８期外国語科です。
今後の成長も楽しみな生徒たちです！

There will be more presentations continuing this Thursday, so we are all looking forward to seeing which countries will be introduced next! It's a wonderful 68th Foreign Language Class with a great atmosphere that we want to share with everyone, and we are excited about the students' future growth!

続いて、これまで作成したスライドと原稿を元に、リハーサルを行いました。

グループを4つに分け、各グループに専属のALT or JTEを配置します。
Next, we conducted rehearsals based on the slides and scripts we had created so far. We divided into four groups, with each group having a dedicated ALT or JTE.

グループ内の一人が先生前で、そしてもう一人はグループ内で発表し、プレゼン後、教員またはグループ内の生徒からフィードバックやアドバイスを行いました！
One student from each group presented in front of the teacher, while another presented within the group. After the presentation, the teacher or students in the group provided feedback and advice.

様々な国をプレゼンしてくれるので、聞き手も飽きずに、そして勉強になるプレゼンが多く、感心しています！

いよいよ次回から、プレゼン本番になるので、今日の修正点を生かして、素晴らしい発表ができるといいですね！
Since the presentations covered various countries, the audience remained engaged and learned a lot, which was impressive! From the next session, it will be the actual presentation, so we hope you can use today’s feedback to deliver a great presentation!

質問があれば随時ALTやJTEの先生とコミュニケーションをとりますが、わからないことは友達や自分で調べることもできているので、自立して進められていることは素晴らしいですね！

If students have any questions, feel free to ask the ALT or JTE, but it's great to see that they are also researching and finding answers on your own or with friends, showing your independence!

また注意点としては、画像をウェブ引用する場合はしっかりと引用元を明示し、著作権にはきちんと配慮しています。

Additionally, they note that when using images from the web, you must clearly indicate the source and ensure to take a proper manner to respect copyright.We are also providing guidance on this matter.

次回は、実際のプレゼンに向けてのリハーサルになります。

実際にやってみて修正等があると思うので、本番に向けてしっかりと準備してほしいですね！

There might be some adjustments needed after practicing, so we hope to prepare perfectly for the final presentation!

各グループに分かれて、大陸ごとにプレゼンをする国を決めることで、被らないようにします。身近に感じていない国を選ぶ生徒も多く、生徒たち自身も学びが多くなっています！

By dividing into groups and deciding on the countries to present by continent, we ensure there are no overlaps. Many students choose countries they are not familiar with, which leads to a lot of learning for them!

 次回は、各自原稿をもとに、Power Point のスライド作成に移ります。

どんな国を調べ、どんなスライドが完成するか楽しみですね！

Next time, each student will create their PowerPoint slides based on their script. We are looking forward to seeing what kind of presentations they will make and which countries they will introduce!

まず始めに、AI teachersチームとHuman teachersグループに分かれて、自分ひとりでその利点を考えます。

First, we divided into AI teachers and Human teachers groups and considered the advantages of each.

その後、実際にAIツールを用いてアイデア出しを行い、自分意見とテーマに関する知見をより深めていきます。

After that, we used AI tools to brainstorm ideas and deepen our understanding of our opinions and the theme.

続いて、各チームで調べた理由と具体例を反対側のチームと意見を交換することで、双方の利点を交換します。

Next, each team exchanged the reasons and specific examples they researched with the opposing team to share the advantages of both sides.

続いてwritingパートです。先ほどのアイデアをもとにOREREOに基づいて自分でエッセイを書いていきます。

Next is the writing part. Based on the ideas discussed earlier, students write their own essays following the OREO structure.

その後、タブレットの音声入力機能を活用し、自分のエッセイを読み上げ、ワードに入力していきます。

こうすることで、タイピング時間の省略や、自分の発音が理解できる程度の発音なのかを確認することもできるので便利ですね！

After that, students use the voice input feature on their tablets to read their essays aloud and input them into Word.

This approach is convenient as it saves typing time and allows students to check if their pronunciation is clear enough to be understood.

続いて、AIツールを用いて、添削をしてもらいます。

ミスの該当箇所を自動で、正確に添削してくれることに驚いていました！

最後に添削後のエッセイをもとに、反対側の意見の人とディスカッションを行いました。

Next, we used AI tools to proofread our essays.

The students were amazed at how accurately the AI identified and corrected their mistakes!

Based on the final proofread essays, we then held a discussion with those who had opposing views.

タブレットの有効活用とAIツールを使う側の人間になること、そして、英語の学習の自己完結化を促進することで、

今後の英語学習が飛躍的に伸びることを期待しています！

By effectively using tablets and becoming users of AI tools, as well as promoting self-sufficiency in learning English,

we hope that this will lead to a dramatic improvement in their future English studies!
